Real Estate Closings

Whether residential or commercial, buying a property is one of the most exciting and stressful events of a person’s life. Once the seller has accepted the buyer’s offer and the parties have entered into a written purchase contract, a closing agent is selected to handle the closing process.  The closing agent’s duties involve a title search to identify and clear any encumbrances on the land to ensure delivery of marketable title, making arrangements for the new owner and/or lender to obtain title insurance, and preparation of the deed, affidavits and other documents to be signed by the parties as well as the HUD or “settlement statement” that outlines all of the costs for the buyer and seller associated with the closing. On the day of closing, the closing agent explains the nature and purpose of each document to be signed by the parties.

  • Site Improvements Inspection Reports
